Any scheduler can be used to run ImAdj, as long as it is capable of launching applications. WinCron (above) is a very good freeware scheduling application that has been used to schedule the running of ImAdj in order to coordinate ImAdj processing with the creation of images by other software.
Installing WinCron
WinCron is included with ImAdj but not installed by default. The Wincron installer is placed into the ImAdj installation directory. If you decide you want to use WinCron, it needs to be installed independantly. To install it, go to the ImAdj installation directory and run the WinCron installer.
e.g. C:\Program Files\ImAdj\WinCron140.exe.
Note - You may need to replace C in the above example with your primary installation drive if it is different.
Once installed, WinCron can be setup to run ImAdj as per the following example.
Setting up WinCron
To create a WinCron entry for ImAdj, click the Add button on the opening WinCron screen (see above). The Task window will open

Enter a Description and Command for the task as shown above. Note the command has two parts,
1. The installed path to ImAdj (d:\program files\imadj\imadj.exe)
2. The path to where the ImAdj layout and input source images will be. (e:\images\allsky\)
Next change the When entry from "Manually" to "Scheduled" and the Scheduling window will appear.

There are many options for scheduling WinCron and these can be set to suit your specific needs. In this example WinCron is setup to run ImAdj every minute of every day until the 31st December 2010.
When you have finished setting up the scheduling, set the "Enable Task" checkbox and click OK. Your new entry will appear in the main WinCron window, with a status of Enabled.
If you click on your new entry, you can then execute it once to test it by pressing the Run Now button and when you are happy that everything is working, enable WinCron by checking the Enable checkbox at the top of the main WinCron screen.
Note - In the above example, WinCron is setup to run ImAdj once per minute from 01/01/2006 to 31/12/2010. Note that in the 'Command' window, ImAdj is passed the e:\images\allsky directory, which is where the camera control program is saving it's images and also where an ImAdj layout has been saved that defines the processing that will be applied to the images ImAdj finds there.
